Hand-Weaving Process

STITCHING WEAVERS OF INDIA
At Sundaari, our journey began with a simple idea — to celebrate the rich heritage of Indian weaving. We collaborate with skilled weavers and artisans from across the country to bring you high-quality fabrics with unique and timeless designs.
Through our travels across India, we discovered that traditional art forms are still alive — lovingly preserved by communities who dedicate their lives to this craft. By working with these weavers, we not only showcase their incredible work but also help keep these traditions alive for future generations.
With Sundaari, you don’t just wear a design — you wear a story, a tradition, and a piece of India.
Why Handwoven Sarees are Expensive?
Handloom sarees are expensive primarily because of the significant time, skill, and labor involved in their manual weaving process, often using intricate designs and natural materials, which results in a limited production capacity and high cost per saree compared to machine-made alternatives.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY?
-
Wearing a Sundari saree feels like draping tradition and elegance together. The silk was incredibly soft, and the handwoven detailing was simply breathtaking.
- RITIKA MALHOTRA, DELHI -
I bought a handwoven suit set from Sundari for Diwali, and it was everything I hoped for—graceful, vibrant, and perfectly stitched. The fabric quality and attention to detail were unmatched.
- NEHA SHARMA, GURUGRAM -
Sundari’s dupattas are pure luxury. I paired one with a plain kurta, and it instantly elevated the entire look. The embroidery and weave speak volumes of the craftsmanship. Highly recommend for anyone who loves timeless fashion.
